By adding Host Bot (“Host Bot,” “the Bot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to a Discord server, or by accessing or using any of its features, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must remove the Bot from your server and stop using it.
These Terms apply to all forms of use of Host Bot, including use by server owners, administrators, moderators, and members. By continuing to use the Bot, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the server or organization you manage.
2. Description of Service
Host Bot is a Discord application that provides server management, moderation tools, event management, welcome systems, reaction roles, and server analytics. The Bot operates within Discord servers and interacts with users through Discord's API in accordance with Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy.

- Direct the Bot's functionality to users under the age of 13

7. Bot Availability and Modifications
7.1 Availability
We strive to maintain Host Bot's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Bot may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance and updates, technical difficulties, Discord API issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
7.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any features of the Bot, change these Terms at any time, or temporarily or permanently suspend the Bot's operations.
7.3 No Warranties
HOST BOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE BOT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
- Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to use the Bot (if any), whichever is greater
- We are not responsible for actions taken by users of the Bot
- We are not responsible for any damage caused by Discord's services or API changes
9. Termination
You may stop using Host Bot at any time by removing it from your server or ceasing to interact with it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Bot for any reason, including violation of these Terms, remove the Bot from servers that violate these Terms or Discord's policies, or discontinue the Bot entirely with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Bot immediately ceases, and we may delete cached or stored data associated with your use. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Intellectual Property
Host Bot, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Kojin Studios. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. Discord, Discord logos, and Discord's API are the property of Discord Inc. We do not claim any ownership of Discord's intellectual property.
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Bot. By using the Bot, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Bot's functionality.
11. User Support and Reporting
For support or questions about Host Bot, please contact us through the channels listed below. Users can report bugs, violations, or other issues through our support channels. While we strive to respond to all inquiries promptly, we do not guarantee specific response times or resolutions.
12. Third-Party Services
Host Bot may interact with or integrate third-party services. Use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kojin Studios, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of Host Bot, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another party, or your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date, notify users through the Bot or our website, and provide a reasonable period for users to review changes before they take effect. Your continued use of Host Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Kojin Studios regarding Host Bot and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Bot shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
